My name is Kevin. I am a life-long Bigfoot enthusiast and BFRO Investigator. The first time I tried the Squatch Thumper I liked many features of it. It is the most lightweight knocker I have ever held. It has a wrapped handle for a great grip. I first tried it on both an 8 inch and a 16 inch diameter Ponderosa Pine. Each resulted in great wood on wood sounds even though the pine trees had very thick bark. Then I tried it on a 4 inch diameter Fir tree and the resulting crack carried to the ridge that was to my north and far down the canyon to my south. The Squatch Thumper is now the only wood knocker that I will be using. It would make a great gift for birthday, Christmas, etc.

I was able to use the Squatch Thumper recently during a camping trip. The balance & feel is solid, the sound from tree contact is good and the convenience of having such a quality product at hand to make a wood-knock is always beneficial for research efforts. However, I did not find the attached compass to be of any value because it always pointed to a different direction for north despite no EMF interference.

We used the Squatch Thumper and buddy it is great, has an excellent sound great balance and size and it is tough didn't even mark on it after striking a hardwood tree. We did a Tik Tok video with it on our site Squatch-Fishing outfitters and went live on Facebook with it. Check them out at https://www.facebook.com/SquatchFishingOutfitters
